Fair Usage Policy

Last updated: Jan 2, 2025Effective: Feb 13, 2024Version: 1.6

1.User Obligations

This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of Infraista Cloud Servers, GPU and dedicated servers, Cloud Workspaces, Kubernetes, databases, object storage, networking and related services. Our Terms of Service are incorporated by reference. By using our services, you agree to these obligations.

You represent that your content does not violate applicable law or infringe intellectual property rights; that you own or have authorization for all hosted content; and that hosted material will not be used for illegal activity.

You grant Infraista a license to cache content submitted or distributed via our services for delivery and security purposes. Such caching does not constitute an infringement of your or any third party's intellectual property rights.

2.Prohibited Content & Activities

You may not host, store, distribute, or engage in content or activities that are illegal, harmful, or offensive on Infraista infrastructure.

  • Adult Content: Nudity, pornographic material, or sexually explicit content.
  • Hate & Discrimination: Content promoting violence or discrimination against protected groups.
  • Illegal Activities: Copyright infringement, hacking, fraud, or drug trafficking facilitation.
  • Malware: Viruses, spyware, or malicious code distribution.
  • Child Exploitation: Any CSAM content — reported to authorities immediately.
  • Piracy & Warez: Pirated software, nulled scripts, or circumvention tools.
  • Proxy & Relay Abuse: Open proxies, open relays, or anonymous traffic relaying.
  • High-Risk Workloads: IRC bots, HYIP schemes, escrow fraud, live sports streaming, brute-force tools, network scanning, spam scripts, and similar prohibited workloads.

We reserve sole discretion to determine policy violations. Actions may include suspension, termination, or reporting to authorities without prior notice or refund.

3.Resource Usage

Cloud Servers and shared infrastructure

  • Cloud and Optimized Cloud Servers share physical hosts. Do not run workloads that sustain full CPU, disk I/O or network use for long periods in a way that degrades other customers; Turbo Cloud Servers and dedicated servers are the right choice for constant high CPU.
  • No cryptocurrency mining, BitTorrent, or public peer-to-peer file sharing without written approval.
  • Outbound attacks, floods or scans from your servers are prohibited and lead to immediate suspension.

Bandwidth and storage

  • Monthly traffic is limited per plan. We warn you before you reach the limit; overage may result in throttling or suspension until the counter resets.
  • Allocated disk, object storage and database storage are per plan; system files consume part of provisioned storage.

4.Backup Policy

Each Cloud Server includes one backup snapshot. Snapshots and any other backups we provide are a convenience, not a guarantee: Infraista cannot guarantee backup availability or integrity. Maintain independent off-site backups at all times.

  • Dedicated servers, GPU servers and Cloud Workspaces are not included in automatic backup schedules. You must maintain your own backup solution.
  • Suspended services may be excluded from backups.

Post-cancellation restoration may incur administrative charges varying by data size and resource demand.

5.Email & Anti-SPAM Policy

Email you send from Infraista servers or IP addresses must comply with CAN-SPAM and applicable anti-spam legislation. Mass unsolicited email is prohibited.

  • No spamvertising, open relays, header spoofing, or bulk mailing without proper authentication (SPF, DKIM) and recipient consent.
  • We may block outbound SMTP on new accounts or after abuse reports.

Deliberate spam may result in financial penalties, service termination, and disclosure to anti-spam organizations.

6.Server Management

  • Self-Managed by Default: Cloud Servers, GPU and dedicated servers are self-managed. We maintain the hardware, network and platform; you manage the operating system and software.
  • Optional Management: Management assistance for dedicated servers is available on request and quoted separately.

7.Support Services

Support covers platform availability and infrastructure — not application development, custom code debugging, or third-party software running on your servers.

We may limit support interactions deemed excessive or outside fair use.

8.General Terms

  • Account Security: You are responsible for all account activity, password confidentiality, and maintaining independent backups.
  • Network: We are not liable for downtime from utility failure, equipment issues, natural disaster, or human error beyond fees paid in the billing month.
  • Third-Party Software: Operating systems and software you install are provided under their own licences; licensing fees are your responsibility.
  • Reservation of Rights: We may refuse, suspend, or terminate service for harmful, illegal, or policy-violating activity.
  • Legal Age: You must be 18 or older to enter this agreement.
